Player Safety
Health & Safety
General health, photosensitivity, and comfort information for PhoenixGold Game Studios games.
Photosensitive Seizure Warning
Video games can include flashing lights, changing colors, particle effects, rapid visual transitions, screen movement, explosions, or repeating visual patterns.
A very small percentage of people may experience seizures or other adverse reactions when exposed to certain visual effects, even without a previous history of seizures.
Stop playing immediately if you experience dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, disorientation, loss of awareness, involuntary movement, nausea, or severe discomfort.
If you have a history of epilepsy or photosensitive seizures, consult a qualified medical professional before playing.
How this applies to our games
Faefera
A non-combat cozy adventure, but it still uses magical glow effects, particles, animated UI, day/night transitions, environmental lighting, and camera movement. Development builds may change as presentation and accessibility options are refined.
MegaBlast Mayhem
Contains explosions, bright effects, screen shake, rapid action, and fast visual transitions associated with its arena gameplay.
Eucalyptus Edge
Its in-development 3D combat presentation may include impacts, camera movement, bright ability effects, and other high-motion sequences.
Faefera environmental hazards
Faefera does not use traditional combat as its main source of danger. In-game health can instead be affected by environmental hazards such as lava, extreme cold, or dangerous falls.
These are fictional game systems and should not be treated as real-world safety guidance.
Play comfortably
- Play in a comfortably lit room and sit an appropriate distance from the display.
- Take regular breaks, especially during longer sessions.
- Avoid playing when exhausted, ill, dizzy, or otherwise uncomfortable.
- Keep game and headphone volume at a comfortable level.
- Use a comfortable posture and stop if your hands, wrists, neck, eyes, or back begin to hurt.
- For gamepad play, use a controller and grip that are comfortable for you; for keyboard and mouse, position both to avoid unnecessary strain.
Accessibility & reduced intensity
Accessibility and presentation settings vary by title and by development stage. Where a game provides controls for visual intensity, screen shake, audio, display, or similar options,
use the settings that make play more comfortable for you. Pre-release features may be revised before launch.
Web animations on this site also respect your operating system or browser’s reduced motion preference where supported.
